Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 egg yolks, beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 pt. milk
    5 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
    nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine egg yolks, sugar and milk.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture coats the back of a spoon.
    Cool mixture. Add vanilla.
    Fold in egg whites, then fold in whipped cream.
    Garnish with nutmeg. Chill.
    Makes 20 cups.
