Korvkaka(Liver Pudding) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. liver
    1 c. ham or pork
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. mace
    1 c. rice
    1 1/2 qt. milk (6 c.)
    1 c. Karo syrup
    3/4 c. seedless raisins
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Cook rice in milk in top of a double boiler until just about done.
    Let it cool.
    Grind meat and onion.
    Mix all ingredients and place in a buttered casserole.
    Bake until firm, about 1 hour. Serve hot with melted butter and lingonberries.
