Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine
4 eggs
2 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 box dates, chopped
1 can grated coconut
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
1 lb. orange slice candy, chopped

Preparation

Cream the margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour alternately with milk. Roll nuts, dates and candy in flour. Add coconut. Add to batter and cook in tube pan at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
