Ingredients

4 c. canned milk, heated
2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. cornstarch
8 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. coconut
2 (9-inch) deep dish pie shells
Preparation

In a bowl, stir together sugar, cornstarch and egg yolks. Pour into heated milk.
Bring to a boil and cook until mixture thickens.
May need to add a little more milk.
Take off heat and add 1 stick margarine, vanilla and coconut.
Pour into 2 baked pie shells.
