Ellie'S Mexican Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger, browned
    1 avocado, sliced and quartered
    4 tomatoes, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 (8 oz.) jar French dressing
    1 head lettuce, torn
    1 (7 to 9 oz.) bag tortilla chips, crunched
    1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in order listed.
    Serve at room temperature.
