Homemade Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can golden mushroom soup
    1/2 bay leaf
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. onion
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. hamburger
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 4-quart Dutch oven.
    Brown hamburger, onion and garlic, then drain.
    Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, golden mushroom soup, bay leaf, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and sugar. Let simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
