Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir together peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Place in microwave over and cook 7 to 8 minutes, stirring well after 4 minutes.
    Add butter and blend well.
    Return to oven and cook 2 to 3 minutes more or until peanuts are golden brown.
    Add baking soda and vanilla and gently stir until light and foamy.
