Beef Sherry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb round steak or trimmed stew beef
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 pkg. dehydrated onion soup
    1/2 c. sherry cooking wine
    fresh mushrooms to taste
    butter to saute
Preparation
    Cut beef (I use stew beef) into bite sized pieces.
    Do NOT braise.
    Combine the beef with soups and sherry.
    Pour into buttered casserole and cover. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Clean slice, and saute mushrooms in butter.
    Add to casserole about 1/2 hour before serving.
    Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
