Tortilla Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 c. water
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can Ranch Style beans
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1 c. frozen cut corn
    8 corn tortillas, torn in large pieces
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion, salt, pepper and chili powder. Add water, tomatoes, beans, chilies and corn.
    Simmer 1 hour. About 5 minutes before serving, add tortilla pieces and simmer until hot.
    Makes 6 servings.
