Crock-Pot Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
3 lb. apples, pared and sliced (stamen)
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 dash ground cloves
Preparation

Fill crock-pot with apples.
Cook 18 hours on slow.
Do not lift lid.
Put the cooked apples through food mill if a smooth consistency is desired.
Put apples back in crock-pot.
Add sugar, cloves and cinnamon.
Cook 4 more hours.
Jar as usual.
Yield: about 2 quarts.
