Banana Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 c. mashed bananas
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together the sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Stir in the buttermilk and bananas.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt and stir in.
    Blend in the nuts.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
