Bread Puddin' - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread, buttered
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar, divided
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    8 oz. soft cream cheese
Preparation
    Cut
    bread in 1-inch squares;
    place in lightly greased 1 3/4 x 7 1/2
    x\t1
    3/4-inch dish.
    Slightly beat 3 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Mix well.
    Heat milk slowly, add to
    egg mixture,
    pour
    over
    bread
    and
    sprinkle
    cinnamon. Combine cheese and 1/2
    cup
    sugar and blend well.\tAdd 1 egg. Spread over bread.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until firm.
