Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 c. raw peanuts
3/4 c. white Karo corn syrup
1/4 c. water
dash of salt
3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, peanuts, Karo, water and salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until peanuts are very brown (or to the hard crack stage on a candy thermometer).
Add soda and stir.
Pour in buttered pan.
Break into pieces when cool.
