Turnip Souffle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 small turnips
2 carrots
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. bacon drippings (to taste)
bread crumbs
Preparation
-
Boil turnips and carrots together until tender.
Mash and add other ingredients.
Place in greased casserole and top with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
(Beat egg and mix with the milk before adding to turnips and carrots.)
Serves 6.
