Stewed Potatoes Or Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 stick margarine
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cut potatoes and onion.
    Add all other ingredients, except cornstarch and water.
    Cook until tender.
    Mix cornstarch with water.
    Add to stew.
    Serve immediately.
