Steak 'N Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. steak or chicken
1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 large onions, cut into 1/2-inch slices and separate into rings
1 (4 oz.) jar mushrooms, sliced, drain (reserve liquid)
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. dry sherry (optional)
3 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Cut steak or chicken into strips.
In a large skillet, brown meat in oil, using medium heat.
Add onions.
Saute until tender or crisp.
Blend soup, sherry and liquid from mushrooms and garlic salt.
Pour over steak or chicken.
Add mushrooms.
Reduce heat. Pour in large baking dish.
Cook for 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Serve over rice.
