Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 pkg. yeast
2 c. buttermilk
5 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/4
cup warm water.
Mix all dry ingredients and sift.
Cut in Crisco.
Add yeast and buttermilk. Mix well.
Place in refrigerator.
To cook, remove amount of dough needed and knead lightly on wax paper with flour.
Cut out with biscuit cutter.
Put on a greased cookie sheet.
Let rise for 1 hour and bake at 400\u00b0 until done.
