Favorite Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 oz.) pkg. yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. hot water
7 to 8 c. flour
Preparation

Dissolve 2/3 of cake of yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
In a large bowl, mix the sugar, shortening, salt, eggs and hot water. Cool until lukewarm.
Add yeast and flour; stir until dough leaves sides of bowl.
