Soft Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. water
1 3/4 c. raisins
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Combine raisins and water; bring to a boil.
Cook for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool (do not drain).
Cream butter; add sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and add gradually to creamed mixture and mix well.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0.
