Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean ground beef
1 Tbsp. chili powder (more to taste)
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 c. water
1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 to 3 bay leaves
2 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. flour
2 (1 lb.) cans red kidney beans
Preparation

In Dutch oven, brown ground beef; drain fat.
Sprinkle meat with chili powder, salt and sugar and mix well.
Add onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, water and bay leaves.
Cover and simmer slowly for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
