Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. pistachio instant pudding
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    4 1/2 oz. container Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Combine pineapple with pudding mix until it thickens.
    Add 2 cups marshmallows.
    Add Cool Whip, pecans and cherries.
    Mix well and chill.
