Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar (Domino)
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 stick margarine
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, margarine and syrup in a large skillet; turn stove on high.
    When this mixture begins to bubble, add peanuts and time for 5 minutes or until a light golden brown, after cooking for 5 minutes.
    Add soda and mix well.
    Pour onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Break and eat.
