Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. graham crackers or vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Measure 1 quart milk. Save out 1/2 cup and heat remainder in top of double boiler.
    Sift together sugar, cornstarch and flour. Add egg yolks and the 1/2 cup milk that was retained.
    Blend and add to heated milk.
    Add butter.
    Cook over hot water until thick, stirring all the time.
    Then add vanilla.
    Roll out graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
