Kentucky Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 small can crushed pineapple (save juice)
4 egg yolks
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. hot water
4 egg whites, beaten stiffly
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix together flour, sugar, oil and crushed pineapple, saving the juice for glaze.
Add egg yolks, cinnamon and hot water.
Next add the egg whites that have been beaten stiffly and then pecans. Bake in tube pan that has been greased and floured for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325\u00b0.
