Fruit And Nut Cranberry Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
    1 orange (unpeeled), quartered and seeded
    1 tart apple (unpeeled), cored
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground
    1/2 c. golden seedless raisins
    1/2 c. chopped dried apricots
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 oz. raspberry or orange liqueur (optional)
Preparation
    Coarsely chop cranberries, apple and orange in food grinder or food processor.
    Stir in sugar, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
    Cook raisins and apricots in 1/2 cup water over medium heat until raisins are plump (about 5 to 10 minutes); drain.
    Stir raisins, apricots, pecans and liqueur (if desired) into relish.
    Refrigerate overnight to blend flavors.
    Store refrigerated; keeps well (about 2 weeks).
    Makes about 1 quart relish.
    Serve with poultry or ham.
