Jan'S Cream Of Fresh Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. mushrooms, chopped coarse
    1 small onion, sliced
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. water
    2 beef bouillon cubes, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1 c. half and half, scalded
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
Preparation
    In a large pan, heat the butter and in it cook the mushrooms and onion, stirring often, until the onion is translucent.
    Stir in the flour and over gentle heat, cook the mixture for a few minutes.
