Microwave Rarebit(Creamy Cheese Sauce Served On Toast.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. diced Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
dash of Tabasco sauce
1/4 c. whole milk
1 egg yolk (optional)

Preparation

In 4-cup glass measure, microwave on High the cheese and butter for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute until smooth. Stir in salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.
Blend with milk and soup.
Microwave on High for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute until steaming hot.
Serve on toast.
Serves 3 to 4.
