Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked pumpkin
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. milk or cream
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except egg whites.
    Add beaten egg whites last.
    Mix and pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 325\u00b0.
    Pies will be thick.
    Makes 2 large or 3 small pies.
    Cushaw can be used instead of pumpkin.
