Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 onions, finely chopped
1/2 c. butter
1/2 lb. each ground beef, veal and pork
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 slices white bread, crust removed
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
2 eggs
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Saute onions in butter until golden brown.
Mix meat in a bowl and add onions, salt, allspice and pepper.
Mix well.
Soak bread in some cream and add to meat mixture with eggs.
Add rest of cream and water slowly and mix well.
Form into one inch meat balls.
Saute in oil or butter and brown evenly on medium to high heat. Be sure to shake frying pan continuously to retain shape of meatballs.
This should take 8 to 10 minutes.
Don't crowd in pan, do a few at a time.
Serve on a warm platter with party toothpicks or on a bed of rice.
