Angel Food Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small angel food cake
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 envelopes Knox gelatine
    1/2 c. cold water
    3 eggs
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. whipped cream
    1 small (8 oz.) can pineapple
Preparation
    Heat 2 cups milk; add egg yolks, beaten lightly.
    Cook until thickened.
    Cool.
    Add gelatine dissolved in cold water.
    Add pineapple, stiffly beaten egg whites and whipped cream.
    Stir all together.
    Break cake in small pieces and line bottom of dish. Add the filling, then another layer of cake and then the filling again.
