Cracklin' Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 c. diced cracklings
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Sift meal and salt.
Stir in water and cracklings.
Melt butter in a 9-inch cast-iron skillet.
Pour in batter and spread over melted butter.
Cook for 25 minutes or until lightly brown.
Cut in wedges or break into pieces to serve.
