Ingredients

7 c. milk
1 c. regular long grain rice
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. dark seedless raisins
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. heavy or whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
ground cinnamon for garnish
Preparation

In 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat milk, rice and salt to boiling.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add raisins and sugar; simmer 20 minutes longer or until rice is very tender.
Pour rice mixture into large bowl and refrigerate until well chilled.
