Charlie'S Cuckoo'S Nest - cooking recipe

Ingredients

12 (1-inch) slices French bread
1 1/3 c. milk
8 eggs
4 oz. shredded cheese
1/4 c. butter, melted
8 slices crisply cooked bacon

Preparation

Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Place all slices of French bread on bottom of pan.
In large bowl, beat together milk and eggs.
Pour all egg mixture over bread slices.
Pour butter on top of bread. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Top with bacon.
