Italian Cream Cheese Cake(Club Member: Renee Evans) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs, separated
1 tsp. soda
1 c. coconut
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cake flour
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat egg whites; set aside.
Cream butter, egg yolks, sugar and Crisco together.
Sift flour and soda.
Add to sugar mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Beat well.
Add vanilla, coconut and pecans.
Fold in egg whites.
Bake 1 hour in tube pan or at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes in layer pan (makes 3 layers).
