Batter-Fried Squash(Or Any Other Veggie You Want To Batter-Fry.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1 large egg, slightly beaten
    3 to 4 medium sized yellow squash
Preparation
    Stir the dry ingredients together until well mixed.
    Add egg and water; blend until smooth.
    Wash squash well and slice into thin slices, about 1/4-inch thick.
    Dip each slice into batter and fry in enough hot oil to cover.
