Ingredients

3 eggs
1 1/4 sticks oleo
1 1/2 c. sifted flour (self-rising)
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. dry white cooking wine
1/2 lb. candied cherries, quartered
1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
4 or 5 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Soak fruits in wine overnight.
Sift flour and spices together next morning.
Add to fruit.
Cream oleo and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Fold into fruit mix.
Add pecans.
Refrigerate overnight.
