Bay Country Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef shin, bone in
    3 qt. water
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 lb. Maryland regular crabmeat
    1/2 lb. (8 oz.) Maryland claw crabmeat
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 pkg. fresh or frozen mixed soup vegetables
    2 large stalks celery, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Put first 7 ingredients in a large pan and simmer, covered, until meat is very tender, about 3 hours.
    Add rest of ingredients and simmer, covered, until vegetables are done.
    Makes about 5 quarts soup.
