Banana-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. oleo
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. buttermilk or milk and 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1 c. chopped nuts, pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and oleo; add eggs.
Mix well.
Add rest of ingredients.
Mix well and beat.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 4 No. 2 cans or 1 loaf pan.
Fill cans half full.
Bake for 1 hour.
Let stand in cans 5 minutes, then remove so that breads won't get soggy.
