Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    potatoes, cut in bite size pieces
    2 carrots, cut in pieces
    1 onion, cut in pieces
    1 large green pepper, cut in large strips
    salt to taste
    1 c. water
    butter
Preparation
    In large baking dish, cut potatoes into bite size pieces; fill bowl about 3/4 full.
    Cut carrots and onion in pieces.
    Top with large green pepper, cut in large strips.
    Salt to taste (takes a great deal of salt).
    Add about 1 cup water and top with \"blocks\" of butter (several big ones).
    Bake about 1 hour, covered, at 400\u00b0.
