Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. green tomatoes
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/3 Tbsp. light vinegar
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1 Tbsp. butter
    single crust for 9-inch pie
Preparation
    Combine white and brown sugars, flour and nutmeg.
    Arrange peeled and thinly sliced tomatoes in bottom of unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with 3 or 4 tablespoons of sugar mixture, until all tomatoes are used.
    Sprinkle remaining.
