Peppers Stuffed - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 green bell peppers, seeds and pith removed
2 ears fresh corn, cut from cob
4 medium size peeled tomatoes, chopped coarsely
1 c. bread crumbs, divided in half
1 tsp. grated onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 lb. finely ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Slice top off firm fresh bell peppers and remove seeds and pith.
Cut in halves lengthwise and boil for 10 minutes.
Drain. Brown ground beef; drain.
Mix with corn, tomatoes, onions, chili powder, salt and pepper and cook slowly for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add bread crumbs to thicken.
Fill peppers with mixture and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Dot with margarine.
Bake in pan to which you have added 1/2 cup hot water for 30 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0 until crumbs are browned.
