Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Combine
dry ingredients into large bowl; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add milk and stir until well
mixed.
Place
dough\ton
floured surface.
Knead lightly
8 to
10 times.
Roll out dough 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with
floured cutter.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet in 425\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 12.
