Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    3 measuring Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/2 c. bourbon
    2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Over hot (not boiling) water, melt chocolate morsels, remove from heat.
    Blend in corn syrup and bourbon.
    In a large bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs, confectioners sugar and nuts.
    Add chocolate mixture; mix well.
    Let stand about 30 minutes.
    Form into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in granulated sugar.
    Let season in a covered dish for several days.
    Makes 4 1/2 dozen 1-inch candies.
