Hamburger-Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 c. water
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 2) can peas
    8 oz. noodles
Preparation
    Cook noodles until tender.
    Heat oleo in a skillet; add meat and stir until very lightly browned.
    Add onion, water, tomatoes and salt.
    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add peas and their liquid and cooked noodles; cook, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes on low.
    Makes 5 servings.
