Salsa(New Mexico Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 firm, ripe tomatoes, peeled and diced
    4 fresh green chiles (jalapenos), peeled and diced or 1/4 c. canned green chiles
    1/2 c. chopped onions or scallions or both
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 c. diced, chopped cilantro
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Serve in bowl to spoon onto tacos, tostados or tamales.
    Use as a dip with corn chips.
