Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening or margarine
    nuts (optional)
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. ripe bananas, mashed (2 to 3)
    1 Tbsp. vinegar plus milk to make 1/2 c.
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Cream shortening; blend in sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy.
    Add flour mixture alternately with bananas and liquid, beating well after each addition.
    Turn into greased loaf pan and bake 60 to 70 minutes or until done at 350\u00b0.
    Cool several hours before slicing. Makes 1 loaf.
