Layered Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. meal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. cheese, shredded
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. lard
    3 hot peppers
    1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix all except cheese together.
    Put 1/2 of the mixture in pan, then half of the cheese and repeat.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
