Fruit Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sour milk, water or cherry juice
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. maraschino cherries, cut in halves
    2 c. cut-up dates
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Mix well the margarine, sugar and eggs.
    Stir in your choice of liquid.
    (Cherry juice from the maraschino cherries is delicious.)
    Sift the dry ingredients together and stir in and blend.
    Stir in the nuts, cherries and dates.
    Chill dough at least one hour.
