Dandelion Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. flowers
    3 gal. water
    9 lb. sugar
    2 yeast cakes
    3 lb. raisins
Preparation
    Put sugar and water together and boil.
    Pour over blossoms while hot.
    When cool, add yeast cakes.
    Put all in a big crock, if available.
    Let stand for 9 (nine) days, stirring every morning.
