Parsnip And Carrot Saute(Side Dish With Roast Chicken Or Turkey.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. grated carrots
    3 c. grated parsnip
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. tarragon
    1 Tbsp. maple syrup
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large frying pan, heat 1/2 to 1 cup water; toss in the carrots and parsnips.
    Cover; simmer 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove cover and add remaining ingredients.
    Toss to mix.
    Season to taste.
    Serves 6 to 8.
